We have created this path with the aim of making available a tool that can represent a direct link between the artistic and cultural excellences of our territory and tourists.
We started from the most important artistic heritage of Pisogne: the Church of Santa Maria della Neve with its paintings by Romanino. A journey that begins with the building of the Church, towards the end of the 15th century and continues by illustrating the whole “Romaninian cycle” from 1533; thus describing the frescoes, the iconographic themes and the painting technique.
All the contents were created by the students of the Technical Department for Tourism of the I.I.S. “Tassara-Ghislandi” of Pisogne (years 2013-2014 and 2014-2015). The students, coordinated by Prof. Elettra Gambardella, within the ‘Devotio ad Artem’ project, took care of the textual parts in Italian, the translations into a foreign language (English, French and German) and the subsequent voice recording. The project intends to promote knowledge, protection and enhancement of the local cultural heritage.
